School Safety

 

The Northern Local School District has recently learned of a TikTok challenge encouraging school violence on Friday, December 17. While these threats are not specific to Northern Local schools we are vigilant in regard to student safety and wanted to make all parents aware of this most recent social medial phenomenon.

 

Local authorities are aware of the challenge and we are working cooperatively with them to protect our students. Please take the time to speak with your children about the pressures of social media and the potential consequences of engaging in this type of behavior.
