The kindergarten screening scheduled for the week of April 14 has been cancelled due to the Stay at Home order of the Governor.  Screenings will be rescheduled at a later date.

Due to the Presidential Primary Election on Tuesday, March 17th the staff professional development scheduled for Monday, March 16th has been rescheduled for March 17th so that students will not be in the building during the primary elections. School Will be in session on Monday, March 16th.

OUTSTANDING CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEE

Northern Local School district will hold Kindergarten registration on Monday, March 2 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm and Wednesday, March 4 from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Sheridan Middle School library.

The 2018-2019 Sheridan Band Invitational was held on Saturday, September 8.  There was a total of 460 band members present. 

PayForIt is Transistioning to PaySchools Central

On May 1st, the school lunch balance system will be transitioned to a new system called PaySchools Central. Although this will be a seamless transition, we want to make you aware of the specifics so that you know what to expect.

2017-2018 Student enrollments

The Muskingum Valley Preschool-Perry County Program's (formerly Little Panthers Early Learning Center) are moving their office, as of July 1, 2017. 

If you are interested in applying for the 2017 Back to School Bash, the deadline to submit an application is JUNE 5^th. Please have your application completed and returned to Perry County Job and Family Services by Friday, June 5th at 4:30p.m. For further information, please check out www.perryjfs.org.

The Ohio Council of Teachers of English Language Arts, in conjunction with the National Council of Teachers of English, has selected Lena Moore as a 2017 NCTE High School Teacher of Excellence award winner.

Sheridan's "Northern Stars" have become recognized as one of Ohio's best small mixed competitive show choirs over the past four years.

Sheridan Junior to attend Economics for Leaders Seminar at Yale University

Junior Hannah Bowen is being published in Photographers Forum Magazine: 2017 Best of College and High School Photography. 
She is a finalist out of 14,000 entries worldwide.
